Every house has one. The dreaded junk drawer. You know the one, filled with dead batteries, random chargers, loose screws, command hooks, takeaway menus, appliance manuals and that mystery key you've been keeping "just in case."
The problem isn't that we have random household items. The problem is trying to cram an entire home's worth of miscellaneous things into one tiny drawer.
So years ago, I stopped fighting it. Instead, I created what I now call my Household Utility Cupboard and it now remains one of the most utilised spaces in our home.
